@bloomfilters It's so weird to me because I need social interaction. Like yes if I was alone in the world I would theoretically want to still transition... But I would probably theoretically want to end my life regardless to be honest. So the transition question is hard to properly internalise

@crunkcore Some people just have a different aura. I have a friend that mostly hangs out with trans women, but is a cis woman magnet whenever she branches out. Compared to me that hangs around cis women a lot more day to day,band has never had that type of experience personally.

@cinnamonmaxxing Generally coming out socially, but with some exceptions. I think for most people it needs to be coming out irl, being out socially online has an impact but is really slow. Similarly, some people can be out and on hrt and just stuck mentally at that stage for way longerthan others

@idkijustthibk I lightly defended the term in the past, but stopped when I saw it compared to people saying "bitch isn't a slur against women, it's a slur against bitchy women". Like oh, yea there's no real way to have a slur mean X people that do Y behaviour without it just becoming 'X people'

@An_Aria_Blooms I was assumed or questioned by a lot of people as a teenager if I was gay and into men. I never was, but because I didnt display/act on attraction to women people could though something was "off" about me.

Do they experience anti blackness?

@angeIsighting And I can't lay blame on the podcast hosts themselves. But I've seen this subconscious distinction in the wild before that a trans man can be a man but a trans woman can only be a trans woman. I understand frustration when these microaggressions and slights are just everywhere2/2

@angeIsighting Separate to what you're saying, the guest saying "you can have double Ds and still be a guy" compared to another guest saying "you could have a beard and that's still a trans woman" is a little sad. Take with a slight grain of salt since it's comparing two different people. 1/2
