Recommendations from the #FuatiliaAhadi forum in Mombasa include strengthening job placement services, such as internships, and revising the Ajira training curriculum to better align with market needs. Participants also suggested easing job experience requirements to encourage more young people to pursue job opportunities.

This is Mjini Primary School located in Burumba Ward, Matayos Sub-county, Busia County.

The school has a population of 300 pupils. Initially, only TWO toilets were built by the Matayos Constituency NG-CDF financial year 2017/2018, but they are not in good condition.

In terms of staffing, the school has a total of 9 teachers, with two teachers directly employed by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).

It is believed that Mjini Primary School has not received a capitation allocation from the Ministry of Education. The students contribute Ksh 200 per term to pay the seven teachers who are not employed by TSC.

We are calling on the ministry to look into this to ensure our learners are getting what they deserve without having to pay anything extra.
