@fkablacklegends The album sold like hot cakes. Like how in the world did it get like five certifications all on the same day lol. She was on the radio everywhere. Three records in the Top 10…she made history with that. I feel like a lot of her peers didn’t have IT like that.

@fkablacklegends Ppl don’t understand back then everything was so different. No streaming …all physical sales. Whitney was big on EVERY PART OF THE WORLD. That movie and soundtrack made Whitney a bankable star. Soundtrack was the first album to sell a million copies in a week
