I know, this isn’t a very common opinion, because I asked the question and was told that Vox was an asshole, and that Val must have been on the verge of dying right before his eyes. But I disagree: I think that if Vox knew Val was suffering, he’d do something to fix it.

If Vox loses his temper in Season 3 and yells at Valentino, “You’re mine,” I’m going to lose it.

Something to note is how Velvette and Vox seem to have issues with authority, while Val doesn’t. Val (at least tries) to show respect to someone above him.

Meanwhile Vox & Vel are openly disrespectful, which usually backfires on them & they need to resort to threats/intimidation
