Robert Lewandowski's wife, Anna, opens up about life with an athlete 💔:
🗣️ "I spent a long time thinking about what to write here.
I could post a smiling photo, say that we’re “off to chase what’s next,” and pretend that everything is perfect. But it isn’t. And I want to be completely honest with you.
A huge change is ahead of us: moving to Chicago. And although I should probably be writing about excitement, today I want to tell you one thing: I’m honestly terrified.
The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster of extreme emotions for me. Barcelona became my home. My safe place, a city I loved with all my heart. The thought of packing again, leaving behind what I built, and starting over in a way simply scares me.
As a mother, I feel an enormous amount of stress. I worry about the girls and their emotions, about a new school, and about how they will find themselves in a completely new world. Anyone who has gone through such a big move with children knows how heavy that mental burden can be for a parent.
Life beside an athlete is not only about the bright moments. It also comes with difficult family compromises. Robert’s career path is now bringing us a new challenge. I stand firmly by his side and support him with all my strength, because we are a team. But as a woman, I have the right to feel fear. I have the right to feel overwhelmed, and today I’m not going to pretend otherwise."

@PeakSxnti Individual brilliance over team performance.
Arsenal have been outstanding as a unit, but only a few players have consistently stood out individually. Raya, Rice, Gabriel and Timber.
With the whole fracas happening in the Real Madrid squad, I think France biggest problem might be Mbappé’s ego during the World Cup.
Dembele should clearly be their main man right now but he’s been forced to play out wide to fit Mbappé…. same way Doue, Barcola, Olise and Cherki will be misused too.
Deschamps must build around Dembele or the balance will keep suffering.
