Not that anyone will see this but I'm moving over to blue sky @sammyslick.bsky.social to migrate from this cesspit.
Chuck us a follow and I'll give ya one back!
@SkySportsPL "He has no business going near the ball"
The ball is kicked AT HIM, you cheating cretin.
The referee's first job is to look out for player safety, but Rice gets kicked in the knee. Totally ignored. VAR is shameful. Absolute fucking joke. Dismantle PGMOL
So far we've had:
Rice sent off for existing
Havertz strangled (no card)
Bournemouth denied a clear goal
Schar sent off for having a forehead
Joelinton attempting to decapitate Neto (No card)
+ so many more
We're on MATCHWEEK 3
How is any of this acceptable?
Officiating has gotten even worse under Howard Webb. Focus on little technicalities that are a drop in the bucket while violent conduct & dangerous play is shrugged off. Have said it seemingly 1000x, PGMOL has to be torn down and rebuilt for anything to change. Great matches constantly marred by this crap
#ARSBHA
Last season we received 3 apologies from the PGMOL that cost us 8 points and ultimately the league title. This season we’ve already been robbed of two points and we are in match week 3.
Football can be a strange beast. Imagine showing this video to someone with zero interest in the sport and explaining that the bloke in red is the one who was punished
Let’s analyse that “red card”.
Two laws might apply here: 1) showing dissent by kicking the ball away or 2) delaying the restart.
1) There is demonstrably no dissent from Rice. He flicks the ball gently, not angrily. There is no justification for a caution under this law.
2) The ball is rolling when Rice flicks it. For a restart to be taken, it must be dead. It was not. There is no restart to be taken at that point. The ball has moved a few inches. There is no delay to the restart. There is no justification under this law either.
Manc Chris Kavanagh has unilaterally chosen to send off Declan Rice without justification. He does so in a manner that distorts both the contest and the outcome of the game. The knock-on of this is that our midfield anchor is now unavailable for the NLD at WHL.
It is not the first time he has issued questionable decisions that disfavour Arsenal. We have now won only 50% of games Kavanagh has refereed. This man must never again be allowed to officiate an Arsenal game.

This is part of the reason we never make any progress. Referees aren’t held accountable and nobody speaks up until it’s their club who have been fucked over. Managers speak up when they have been fucked over because they’re angry. They don’t bother speaking up when an incorrect call goes their way because they can think more rationally and know they will get punished.
We were completely robbed of what was looking like a routine win, but the positives:
- We didn’t panic and held on for a point.
- Calafiori looks like a serious player, both on and off the ball.
- The home fans were quality. They let Kavanagh know exactly what’s what. Wanker.
No refereeing conspiracies against Arsenal football club. Definitely not. Season after season after season. Ignore what happened in just two games so far. Ignore.
When a ridiculously soft 2nd yellow is given to send an Arsenal player off:
“Well by the letter of the law the ref is within his rights to give a 2nd yellow”
When a blatant 2nd yellow isn’t given against an Arsenal opponent:
“Well, the referee is trying to let the game flow”
Rinse and repeat
