President Trump stepped off stage mid-speech to comfort the grieving parents of Jacob Freytes, a 12-year-old Bronx boy tragically killed by a stray bullet.

The emotional and impromptu moment unfolded on Long Island as Trump addressed law enforcement officers about his administration's major crackdown on crime.

Jacob was killed by gunfire that allegedly came from a repeat criminal only weeks ago. He was riding his bike outside of a bodega when he came upon a fight that descended into gunfire.

Freytes' parents, Migdalia Martinez and Jesus Freytes, attended the address where Trump highlighted Jacob's tragic story. Jesus is a retired NYPD sergeant.
