Claude Code for your phone. But better.
Gotcha is free and an open-source AI copilot that runs entirely on your Android phone. 111+ tools, fully on device, no laptop tethered.
Give it a paper, get a podcast. Say movie night, get the lights dimmed.

Gotcha v1.3.0 is out.
Tasks keep running now when you switch apps, Gotcha tells you when it needs you, and the 13 system dialogs you used to get on first launch are gone.
What changed:

Gotcha by Samosa AI already takes the opposite approach: the agent runs on the Android phone itself. Install the APK and use it directly on-device — no PC or ADB tether required.
On-device VLM is on ARTEMIS’ roadmap.
With Gotcha, the phone is already the agent runtime.

The catch: ARTEMIS isn’t actually running on the phone.
It still relies on an external host + ADB to control the Android device. Great for testing/dev automation, but not very practical as an everyday mobile agent.
5/5 Free forever, open source, unlimited repos and runs. Built for teams who want to move fast without losing control of their code.

For reviewing a PR, we had to check who was free, and it was difficult to manage.
Also since now AI writes code so fast that checking if a PR is actually good takes even longer.
So we started using Jalebi.
