The Lions won all year by going for it on 4th and short. Campbell stuck to his guns. They went down swinging.
What lost them the game was the Reynolds drop, the ball off the facemask and the Gibbs fumble. The series of mistakes lost momentum more than his decision
“THIS IS A HIRE I CANNOT GET BEHIND.”
“BRIAN FLORES WOULD NEVER.”
“DAN CAMPBELL IS POISED TO BE A DISASTER.”
“HE’S JUST A MEATHEAD.”
“THIS IS WHO BLACK COACHES ARE LOSING OPPORTUNITIES TO?”
“GOFF IS GOING FROM MCVAY TO FRED FLINTSTONE.”
“THIS HIRE WAS AN INCREDIBLE REACH.”
“AN EMBARRASSING HIRE FOR THE LIONS.”
“DAN CAMPBELL DOESN’T SEEM VERY BRIGHT.”
“HE’LL NEVER BE THE GUY.”
“THE LIONS WILL NOT REACH THEIR POTENTIAL UNDER DAN CAMPBELL.”
All real headlines and comments. Everyone in media was his biggest critic. No one believed in him. No one saw the vision. Three years later, he’s got his Detroit Lions playing in the NFC Championship game, and none of his doubters matter.
You’re good enough for f—ing Detroit, Dan Campbell.
We love you, Dan. Keep proving your haters wrong.

So either Brad Allen will call all the Lions liars, or he'll fall on the sword. One or the other. It's hard to imagine that Detroit would collectively be making this story up.
And by the way, there are missed judgment calls that ar just plain human error. This would not be that.
Brad Allen made an assumption that Dan Skipper was going to eligible — because he was “a couple times” before?
Then Skipper didn’t line up as eligible. Decker did. And Allen was confused.
The #Lions are trying to run interference to make the #Cowboys think Skipper is running onto the field and reporting when in reality it’s Decker. Slow mo replay showed Skipper saying, “I didn’t say a f—ing word!” Clearly planned and practiced. Brad Allen announced Skipper though.
The refs…..again.
This is why inside of 2 minutes all plays should be reviewable. Decker tried to report to the Ref and got punished for the Ref not seeing him do it and not hearing him. So now the refs can’t see or hear.
Anonymous Green Bay Packers player on Detroit Lions EDGE Aidan Hutchinson:
“He came over to our bench during pre-game warmups and walked right by me. I look at Aaron (Jones) and I’m like, ‘what the hell is he doing over here’?”
Hutchinson reportedly approached Packers QB Jordan Love, tapped him on the shoulder, and said, “Lace ’em up tight, ’cause it’s about be a long f–-king game.”
Hutchinson went on to record 1.5 sacks along with 8 QB pressures in Detroit’s 34-20 win over their division rival.
NBC just announced that last nights Detroit Lions vs. Kansas City Chiefs game averaged nearly 27 million viewers. Last seasons Bills-Rams #NFL opener only averaged 21.7 million viewers 🤯
The Detroit #Lions are moving the needle #OnePride
