🔥 HYPOCRISY AT ITS PEAK! DOUBLE STANDARDS, ANYONE? 🔥

So, let me get this straight…

When India and China buy Russian oil to protect their energy interests, Washington threatens them with tariffs of up to 100%. The message is clear: buying Russian oil is unacceptable, and other countries must pay the price.

But now, when the United States itself needs Russian fuel, President Donald Trump announces a deal to bring massive quantities of Russian diesel into America and thanks Vladimir Putin!

Wait a minute! What happened to the principles? What happened to the sanctions? And what happened to the lectures about buying Russian oil? 🤔

If buying Russian energy is wrong, then the rule should apply consistently. If national interests justify buying Russian fuel, then India has every right to consider its own energy security, economic realities and the interests of its people.

One rule for America and another for the rest of the world?

India is a sovereign nation, not a country that should be dictated to about every economic decision it makes. Our energy policy must serve the interests of our people, not simply the political convenience of another country.

The real question is not whether America should buy Russian diesel. The real question is: Why should India face economic punishment for pursuing an energy policy that America itself is now willing to pursue when it suits its interests?

International relations cannot run on selective morality. Global trade cannot be governed by double standards. And sovereignty cannot mean one thing for powerful nations and another for everyone else.

America First may be Washington's policy. But India First is our right, too! 🇮🇳

📚❤️ শিক্ষার আলো ছড়িয়ে পড়ুক ফুলপাহাড়ির প্রতিটি ঘরে ❤️📚

ডক্টর আম্বেদকর সোসাইটি ফর সোশিও ইকোনমিক ওয়েলফেয়ার অ্যান্ড ডেভেলপমেন্ট পরিচালিত আমাদের ১১ টাকার টিউশন —মেদিনীপুরের ফুলপাহাড়ি গ্রামের শিক্ষা কেন্দ্রের জন্য গত কয়েকটি দিন ছিল সত্যিই অত্যন্ত আনন্দের, গর্বের এবং অনুপ্রেরণার।

গত সোমবার থেকে বৃহস্পতিবার পর্যন্ত #Vidyasagar_University #পপুলেশন_বিভাগের বেশ কয়েকজন ছাত্রছাত্রী আমাদের এই ছোট্ট শিক্ষাকেন্দ্রে এসে এখানকার ছেলেমেয়েদের সঙ্গে সময় কাটিয়েছেন। তাঁরা শিশুদের পড়াশোনায় সাহায্য করেছেন, বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে গাইড করেছেন এবং নিজেদের অভিজ্ঞতা ও জ্ঞান দিয়ে তাদের শেখার আগ্রহকে আরও বাড়িয়ে তুলেছেন। পাশাপাশি, আমাদের এই উদ্যোগের মাধ্যমে কীভাবে প্রত্যন্ত এলাকার শিশুদের শিক্ষার সুযোগ করে দেওয়া হয়, কীভাবে তাদের পড়ানো হয় এবং সীমিত সামর্থ্যের মধ্যেও কীভাবে শিক্ষার পরিবেশ গড়ে তোলা যায়, সেই অভিজ্ঞতাও তাঁরা কাছ থেকে উপলব্ধি করেছেন।

শুক্রবার আমাদের এই শিক্ষাকেন্দ্রে #বিদ্যাসাগর_বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের পপুলেশন বিভাগের একজন অধ্যাপকও উপস্থিত হয়েছিলেন। আমাদের ছেলেমেয়েদের পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে তাঁদের পড়াশোনায় সহযোগিতা করার জন্য আমরা সত্যিই আপ্লুত ও কৃতজ্ঞ। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক ও ছাত্রছাত্রীদের এই আন্তরিক উদ্যোগ আমাদের নতুন করে অনুপ্রেরণা জোগায়। ❤️

🍱 মুম্বাইয়ের ডাব্বাওয়ালা: ১৩৫ বছরের আস্থা, সময়নিষ্ঠা ও কর্মসংস্কৃতির এক অনন্য গল্প

মুম্বাইকে শুধু স্বপ্নের শহর বলা হয় না—এটি সময়, গতি ও পরিশ্রমের শহর। আর এই শহরের কর্মব্যস্ত জীবনের সঙ্গে ওতপ্রোতভাবে জড়িয়ে রয়েছে এক অসাধারণ ব্যবস্থা—মুম্বাইয়ের ডাব্বাওয়ালা। ১৮৯০ সালে মহাদেও হাজি বাচ্চে প্রায় ৪০ জন ডাব্বাওয়ালাকে নিয়ে এই সংগঠিত পরিষেবার সূচনা করেন। ধীরে ধীরে ছোট পরিসরের এই উদ্যোগ পরিণত হয় মুম্বাইয়ের অন্যতম পরিচিত কর্মসংস্কৃতিতে।

সাদা পোশাক, গান্ধী টুপি, সাইকেল, রেলপথ এবং হাতে লেখা/কোড করা চিহ্ন—এই সরল উপকরণগুলিই হয়ে ওঠে তাঁদের বিশাল সরবরাহ ব্যবস্থার মূল শক্তি। বাড়ি থেকে সংগ্রহ করা রান্না করা খাবার নির্দিষ্ট চিহ্ন ও কোড অনুযায়ী বিভিন্ন সংগ্রহকেন্দ্রে পৌঁছায়, সেখান থেকে মুম্বাইয়ের লোকাল ট্রেনে এক এলাকা থেকে অন্য এলাকায় যায় এবং শেষপর্যন্ত পৌঁছে যায় অফিসকর্মীর টেবিলে। দুপুরের পর সেই খালি ডাব্বাগুলিও আবার একইভাবে বাড়িতে ফিরিয়ে দেওয়া হয়।

🚂 বছরের পর বছর বদলেছে শহর, বদলেছে ডাব্বাওয়ালাদের ব্যবস্থাপনাও

প্রথমদিকে কাজটি ছিল অনেকটাই ব্যক্তিগত ও ছোট পরিসরের। কিন্তু মুম্বাইয়ের জনসংখ্যা ও অফিসকেন্দ্রিক কর্মসংস্কৃতি বাড়ার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে ডাব্বাওয়ালাদের সংগঠনও বড় হতে থাকে। তাঁদের ব্যবস্থার অন্যতম বৈশিষ্ট্য হল দলগত কাজ, নির্দিষ্ট রুট, পারস্পরিক দায়িত্ব এবং সহজ অথচ কার্যকর কোডিং ব্যবস্থা। প্রযুক্তির ব্যবহার সীমিত হলেও মানুষের অভিজ্ঞতা ও সমন্বয়ই এই ব্যবস্থাকে দীর্ঘদিন সচল রেখেছে।

🦠 করোনা: শতাব্দীপ্রাচীন ব্যবস্থার সবচেয়ে বড় ধাক্কা

২০২০ সালের COVID-19 মহামারি ডাব্বাওয়ালাদের জীবনেও বড় পরিবর্তন নিয়ে আসে। লকডাউনের সময় অফিস বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়ায় তাঁদের প্রধান গ্রাহকই কার্যত অদৃশ্য হয়ে যান। লোকাল ট্রেন পরিষেবা বন্ধ থাকায় তাঁদের স্বাভাবিক পরিবহণ ব্যবস্থাও ভেঙে পড়ে। বহু ডাব্বাওয়ালা দীর্ঘ সময় আয়হীন হয়ে পড়েন। সংগঠনের পক্ষ থেকে খাদ্যসামগ্রী, আর্থিক সহায়তা ও সাইকেল দিয়ে অনেককে আবার কাজে ফিরতে সাহায্য করা হয়।

📱 বর্তমান সময়ে নতুন বাস্তবতা

করোনা পরবর্তী সময়ে অফিস খুললেও আগের পরিস্থিতি পুরোপুরি ফিরে আসেনি। Work From Home ও Hybrid Work-এর কারণে বহু কর্মী প্রতিদিন অফিসে যান না। ২০২৬ সালের একটি প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, ডাব্বা সরবরাহের সংখ্যা মহামারির আগের প্রায় ২ লক্ষ থেকে কমে প্রায় ৬৫,০০০–৭০,০০০-এ নেমেছে। একই সঙ্গে LPG-সংকটও কিছু সময় তাঁদের গ্রাহকদের রান্না ও সরবরাহ ব্যবস্থায় প্রভাব ফেলেছে।

এর পাশাপাশি রয়েছে অনলাইন ফুড-ডেলিভারি অ্যাপ, রেস্তোরাঁ, ক্লাউড কিচেন এবং দ্রুত বদলে যাওয়া শহুরে খাদ্যাভ্যাসের প্রতিযোগিতা। সংগঠনের নিজস্ব তথ্যেও প্রযুক্তি, প্রতিযোগিতা এবং Hybrid/Work-from-Home সংস্কৃতিকে ভবিষ্যতের বড় চ্যালেঞ্জ হিসেবে উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে।

🔮 আগামী দিনের প্রশ্ন

সবচেয়ে বড় প্রশ্ন শুধু ডাব্বার সংখ্যা কমা নয়—পরবর্তী প্রজন্ম কি এই পেশায় আসবে? জীবনযাত্রার ব্যয় বৃদ্ধি, অনিয়মিত আয়, আবাসন ও আর্থিক নিরাপত্তার সমস্যা এবং নতুন কর্মসংস্থানের সুযোগ তরুণদের এই পেশা থেকে দূরে সরিয়ে দিতে পারে। ২০২৫ সালে ডাব্বাওয়ালাদের ১৩৫ বছরের ইতিহাস সংরক্ষণের জন্য বান্দ্রায় একটি আন্তর্জাতিক অভিজ্ঞতা কেন্দ্র/মিউজিয়ামও চালু হয়েছে—যা এই ঐতিহ্যের সাংস্কৃতিক গুরুত্বকে তুলে ধরে।

তবু মুম্বাইয়ের ব্যস্ত রাস্তায়, ভিড়ের লোকাল ট্রেনে, সাইকেলের চাকার সঙ্গে আজও ছুটে চলেছে সেই পরিচিত সাদা পোশাক ও গান্ধী টুপি।

ডাব্বাওয়ালারা শুধু খাবার পৌঁছে দেন না—তাঁরা পৌঁছে দেন মানুষের বাড়ির স্বাদ, পরিবারের ভালোবাসা এবং সময়ের প্রতি এক অসাধারণ সম্মান।

মুম্বাই বদলেছে, প্রযুক্তি বদলেছে, কাজের ধরন বদলেছে—কিন্তু ডাব্বাওয়ালাদের গল্প এখনও মুম্বাইয়ের কর্মস্পৃহা ও মানবিকতার এক জীবন্ত প্রতীক। 🍱🚲🇮🇳

Saluting the Engineers Who Build India’s Future

Today, on National Engineers’ Day, we remember and honour Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya (15 September 1861 – 14 April 1962)—one of India’s greatest engineers, visionaries and nation-builders. His life reminds us that engineering is not merely about machines, bridges or buildings; it is about solving human problems and creating a better society.

From the dams and irrigation systems that transformed agricultural landscapes to the railways, bridges, highways, ports and power infrastructure that connected the nation, Indian engineers have played an extraordinary role in India’s development.

Today, their contribution extends far beyond traditional infrastructure. India’s engineers are helping shape a new technological era through:

🔹 BRICS Trade Ministers’ Meeting – Jaipur: Progress was made towards the BRICS Economic Partnership Strategy 2030, while the Jaipur Consensus addressed MSME access to finance and global markets.

Inspiring Young Minds Through Hands-on Science 🔬✨

Today, we were delighted to organise a Science Experiential Learning Programme called Science Experia under our Science & Technology field, by the Dr. Ambedkar Society for Social Welfare and Development, for the students of our 11 Takar Tuition Centre.

A group of 10–12 students from Classes IX and X had the wonderful opportunity to experience science beyond textbooks through hands-on learning at the IAPT Midnapore College Centre for Scientific Culture, Midnapore College (Autonomous).

The students were fortunate to learn through practical demonstrations and direct scientific experiences under the guidance of Dr. Makhan Lal Nanda Goswami, Dr. Subhash Chandra Samanta and Dr. Sukhesh Patra, who patiently shared their knowledge and encouraged the young learners to explore, question and understand science through experience.

For many of these underprivileged students, such an opportunity is especially meaningful. Our sincere effort is to make quality scientific exposure accessible to every child and to inspire them towards curiosity, critical thinking and a greater interest in Science and Technology.

We are truly grateful to the respected professors, teachers and the entire team of IAPT Midnapore College Centre for Scientific Culture, Midnapore College (Autonomous) for extending their valuable support and giving our students this memorable opportunity.
