This cocktail was very popular at the time. The paranoid and violent response fits the profile of somebody high on DXM. The whole situation was a sad lack of communication on both sides. It's called skittling or robo-tripping—kids swallow a bunch of cough syrup or pills with DXM, sometimes mixed with soda or candy like Skittles for taste. At high doses, it causes dissociation, hallucinations, and a detached, out-of-body buzz that can last hours. But it's dangerous—can lead to vomiting, paranoia, seizures, or worse, especially if the product has acetaminophen or other additives that damage your liver. Not worth it.

The issue is not all, but it is too many to ignore. They do represent a large enough segment that society needs to call them out. Your argument orginates from the same group that says we need to "end whiteness." No Thanks. Pretending this is an irrelevant minority is foolishness. There are large groups who believe all violence against whites is a justified behavior. They will kill whites and feel good about doing it.
