You flooded the streets in your pre-planned victory parties. Not protests, celebrations. “Genocide” howled from your twisted mouths before we’d even counted our dead.
That day ripped the scales off our eyes, tore the blindfold off.
Jews who barely gave Israel or Zionism a thought suddenly saw it as clear as Waterford crystal.

A few generations after the Holocaust and here you were, proving exactly why we need our own land, our own army, our own unapologetic strength. No more trusting the world’s empty promises.

Two and a half years of your filth. Burnt synagogues, smashed shops, twenty murdered Jews in exile, your terrorist chants and Holocaust denial. Every single vile act has backfired. The more you shriek, the stronger we become. The more you hate, the more lightbulbs flashed on across our people.

Man, I oppose this war but can people please stop acting like Iran is in any way a rational party? They fucking HANG their own citizens every day. Lebanon does not want Hezbollah engaging in a war with Israel from Lebanese soil because the people of Lebanon suffer. Hezbollah has been told to disarm and they don't. They act as a state within a state, doing what they want. This is the shit that happened with the PLO that caused the Lebanese civil war. Does anyone know this history? Who did the Lebanese Christians align with in that? The Israelis. Yes, its bizarre since Israel is now stealing the south of their country but this conflict with radical Islamists, Israel and Christian Lebanese is and old one and anyone could have predicted that the government of Lebanon would appeal to Israel, not the proxies of the Iranian government who ended up getting Lebanon bombed.

Almost no one gets what Trump is doing. So some facts:
1. There is no really controlling national authority in Iran anymore, just factions around certain leaders and some diehard nutjobs.
2. This was the plan from the start: to decapitate the regime.
3. Any agreement with a government not in control cannot be enforced. There is no one with the power to get compliance.
4. The endgame has to deal with multiple groups with varying degrees of pain thresholds. No one in the IRGC (save defections) is going to agree to the US demands.
5. By announcing deals of any sort with a major faction, the Administration has triggered infighting in the regime. This does a lot of the work that would otherwise fall to the Iranian people resisting the Islamic Republic.
6. This approach: (A) thins out the ultimate "hangers-on," (B) pushes any who want to truly cooperate to rebuild a secular state into defection, i.e., joining the resistance; (C) completely destroys coordinated opposition to the rise of the Iranian people when the moment comes.
7. Trump is thinking at a different level than any of the superficial observers. This reflects a very realistic view of the situation based on hard facts. Any ultimate new Iranian government has to replace the IRGC, not seek accomodation with its members. If the latter occurred, we would not be eliminating the threat.
8. There is a shadow government in waiting and millions of Iranians ready to rise up. Everything we can do to facilitate this will make it less painful.

For 47 years, my people have endured systematic torture, rape, murder, humiliation, anxiety, suppression, and grief under the Islamic Republic. It’s been a long, grinding suffering — punctuated by brutal spikes like the January protests, mass executions, and now war. The world has no idea of the scale or depth of these horrors. Only when this evil regime finally falls will the full truth pour out — in quality and quantity that will shock humanity.

We have now reached a point where almost no cost is too great if it rids us of this regime. Because the cost of it staying in power is infinitely higher.

If you’re reading this and you can’t understand how any Iranian could feel relief at their own country losing a war and getting bombed… I envy you. You have never lived what we have lived. Whatever happens next — if there is still an Iran left to save and this regime is gone — the Iranian people will be happy with the result. No matter the cost. Because the cost of the regime remaining is higher, and for many of us, death itself is preferable to another day under this nightmare.

This is the true sentiment of the majority of Iranians — the voice of a people who often have no internet, no platform, and no way to be heard.
