How often is your CCTV actually checked?

Routine maintenance may mean 1–2 visits a year. What happens between visits?

Automated health checks identify camera, recording, storage and connectivity issues before you need the footage.

CCTV is only valuable when it works.

Our ARC is @securedbydesign accredited, meeting the Police Preferred Specification.

This confirms we operate to recognised standards expected for professional monitoring environments, supporting secure handling of alarm and CCTV signals and appropriate escalation procedures.

[Samson Security Fire & Facilities @SamsonSecurity1]

One of the biggest challenges in security is managing multiple providers.

When an incident occurs, delays and confusion can quickly follow.

At Samson, we provide:
✔ Fire & security system installation
✔ 24/7 monitoring
✔ Ongoing maintenance
✔ Keyholding & alarm response

[Samson Security Fire & Facilities @SamsonSecurity1]

CCTV is only effective if it’s working when an incident happens.

Many faults are only discovered when footage is needed — by then, it’s too late.

Our automated CCTV Health Checks help identify issues early before they impact performance.

When you rely on an ARC, you are trusting it with your risk, property, and response decisions

That’s why standards matter

Our ARC is
✔ SSAIB certificated to EN 50518 Category 1 and BS 9518
✔ Secured by Design accredited
✔ Operated by SIA licensed staff

What actually happens when an alarm activates at 2am?

Behind every monitored alarm is a trained operator making real-time decisions based on site-specific instructions, verification methods, and escalation procedures

[Samson Security Fire & Facilities @SamsonSecurity1]

Security systems don’t fail at the point of alarm activation.
They fail at the point of response.

A burglar alarm, fire alarm or CCTV system is only as effective as what happens after it triggers.
