There is widespread celebration in Iseyin and across the Oke-Ogun zone following Governor Seyi Makinde's approval of autonomy for the Iseyin Campus of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH).

The decision marks a historic milestone for Iseyin, the Oke-Ogun region, and Oyo State at large.

Barrister Ahmed Raji, SAN, was among those spotted celebrating the landmark achievement, as residents trooped out in excitement to express gratitude for the development.

OYO STATE GOVERNMENT OPENS ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 2025/2026 GENERAL BURSARY AWARDS

This is to announce the commencement of online registration for the 2025/2026 General Bursary Awards for eligible final-year students of Oyo State origin studying in public higher institutions of learning across Nigeria.
Eligible applicants are advised to visit the official registration portal:

Registration commenced on Wednesday, 14th October, 2026, and will close on Monday, 2nd November, 2026.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION

Applicants are required to provide the following documents and information:
- Admission Letter;
- Local Government Identification Letter;
- Students' Registration/Course Form; and
- Valid commercial bank account details belonging to the applicant.

Applicants are advised to ensure that all information supplied is accurate and consistent with their supporting documents.

Eligible students are encouraged to complete their registration within the stipulated period, as late applications may not be entertained after the portal closes.
