It's very easy to look back with the knowledge you have now and claim school was useless. But guess where a huge chunk of your cognitive development, structure, and foundational learning happened? Right there in those classrooms. You can't climb a ladder, get to the top, and then insult the bottom rungs for just sitting on the ground.

True intellectual growth means realizing that even if you don't use the exact subject matter of your major, the process of learning how to learn is what actually pays off. Blaming the degree for a lack of direction is just letting yourself off the hook
