The Crystal Baschet (Хрустальный Басшет) ✨🎶

This musical instrument was created in the 1950s by the Baschet brothers (Bernard and François), who specialized in building sound-producing sculptures.

The instrument features 56 chromatically tuned glass rods, and to play it, you rub the glass with moist fingers.

The sound it produces feels like it’s from another planet — ethereal and otherworldly. 🌌🛸
Each rod’s vibration is transmitted to a metal resonator, which amplifies the sound.
