@Disney & @ABC’s #Lost premiered on September 22nd 2004 with @JJAbrams and Damon Lindelof creating one of the greatest stories ever told in Film & TV.
Now, 20 years later, @GettingLostDoc tells the story of its making and its fans.
I can’t wait for you all to see it!
@TheCinesthetic This scene was the perfect partner to the S1 finale where Sawyer tells Jack that his father loved him and was proud of him. They finally showed it. It was so satisfying. The whole series Jack carried this grief of his father. Finally seeing them reconcile is just perfect. 💙
@TheLOSTFans Everyone being together now, in the past, in the near future or in 100s of years is perfection. You can watch in 2010 or years to come from now and the “The End” feels present. It depicts an ending beyond time… no matter when, we all move on together 💙
@TheLOSTworld_ Life and Death. This was the show at its core.
The great drama and adventure that is life and the grand mystery of our existence, purpose and what comes before and/or after death.
@CountVolpe The visuals and the music combined are perfection. It speaks to the core of the film.
Love protecting innocence from the darkness of our world and innocence being led by pure love and faith in humanity.
It’s a great film when you consider it a Drama/Romance 1st and Horror 2nd.
@absolutegazelle Danny changes through the film to be a better man for her. He balances good character with being a confident complex and imperfect grown up. In the end, she realises she can and wants to do the same - it’s more about growing up, having agency and setting oneself free.
@Thomashornall I moved to the USA this year for so many of the reasons you listed. I love and miss the “home” that the UK will always be but I am happier in the chance to grow and that people actively love and support that here. Thanks for this post! 💙
@hangsawoman I understand what they were going for but yes the stage show version lets the song build and build to that glorious final chorus in a way that’s magical. Just for fun I took that final shot and paired it with how it could have looked if it ended like the stage show…
Happy Birthday @M_Giacchino! 🥳🎂
Thanks for all your great work but most importantly… #Lost… your masterpiece. The “Life and Death” theme is magical. This is the 1st time you created and used it in the show and in the context of the whole story it fits perfectly. Thank you! 💙
