After the referral I was initially offered a physical assessment with the possibility of CBT in around 12 months. Not great, but I felt reassured that the help I had requested would be forthcoming.

As a result they referred me back to the eating disorder clinic. I have had many years of dealings with these specialists and whilst initially they had been helpful, I have had some deeply damaging experiences with them recently.
