@DarleneEar96837@LukaszukAB@progressivetory I’m a Progressive Conservative but Thank you for that reminder - we promise to increase literacy & education funding once in power.
Protecting Rights and Upholding the Law
Rights and freedoms are foundational – they must be protected, not set aside.
We will restore Charter protections, ensure laws are tested through the courts, repeal existing uses of the notwithstanding clause, and introduce clear limits on its future use.
Because every Albertan deserves the right to be heard.

Fair elections don’t need fixing.
Only governments worried about losing do.
An independent process was completed — now it’s being overridden.
Albertans should be paying attention.

Oversight Matters
Tens of millions in public funds.
Sole-source contracts. Intermediaries inserted. Projects stalled.
Now Alberta businesses are unpaid, liens filed, and disputes are before the courts.
And the question remains:
If government isn’t accountable - who is?

A Tory government will reverse the $200 AISH claw backand make accessibility standards a priority — practical, common-sense rules that improve access to services, communication, and infrastructure.
And remove every use of the notwithstanding clause.

We will end backroom deals, enforce ethics, protect whistleblowers, and punish misconduct - no exceptions, no immunity. That’s how we restore trust.

“The Government Says They’re Not Separatists - Their Actions Say Otherwise”
Despite denying separatist intentions, the UCP’s actions - from the Alberta Next Panel to Bill 14 to the Premier’s ultimatums - point unmistakably toward a path that risks Alberta’s economic stability and national standing.
Most Albertans are frustrated with Ottawa. But they do not want to separate. So why is the UCP pushing us toward a referendum destined to fail?
In this video, I explain how these decisions weaken Alberta, isolate us, and undermine our long-term interests.
The Tory Party believes Alberta is strongest within Canada - built through strategy, collaboration, and principled leadership.

Today I attended an Education Advocacy & Information Session in Airdrie alongside educators, parents, school leaders, and community partners. These conversations matter because education is one of our most important public trusts, shaping the future of our children.
What we heard was clear: overcrowded classrooms and growing student needs are making teaching increasingly difficult. Recent labour disputes highlighted not just contract concerns, but a broader lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect for educators and taxpayers.
The Progressive Tory Party of Alberta is committed to rebuilding trust through:
· Good-faith negotiations
· Transparency around class size and classroom complexity
· Dedicated funding to support students with complex needs
· Responsible, outcomes-based investment in education
Collaboration - not confrontation. Respect for educators. And a system that puts kids first.
Thank you to everyone who shared their perspectives today.

“One being fiscal responsibility…The fourth thing is Alberta remaining part of Canada and the last one we call social reliability,” said Peter Guthrie, leader of the Tory Party. #ableg#abpolitics

A Different Conversation About Alberta Politics
Alberta politics is at a crossroads - and more people are starting to say it out loud.
I recently joined The Line: Alberta Podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about accountability in government, health care procurement, and why so many Albertans feel politically homeless right now.
We talked candidly about what happens when governments stop answering hard questions, why transparency matters more than talking points, and how Alberta can move forward without the constant pull toward polarization or instability.
This wasn’t about slogans or sound bites. It was about experience - what I’ve seen from inside government, why I spoke up, and why I believe Albertans deserve a steady, responsible alternative that focuses on good governance, respect for institutions, and practical solutions.
If you’re frustrated with politics as usual- or just looking for a thoughtful discussion about where Alberta goes next - I hope you’ll give it a listen.
