@BNHWalker Think about the recent 'additional rate' discussion being framed as tax cuts to the rich. The real rich don't earn more than 125k in _income_. We ask of them very little in terms of capital gains.
@BNHWalker Would be good if this finally got us to stop thinking of the 'rich' in income terms. The asset rich often have very little tax asked of them as a % their earnings.
The relatively well of in terms of income pay an unsightly % of their income in tax.
@dark1x I love shorter games, they call be much more manageable and with less bloat and more focused stories.particulary for novel games But the price must match the content
@louis_collins@Altrinchamduck Would recommend Sale Water Park over Altrincham for most, parking is free, there is loads of it and you can stay on the motorway for a bit longer
@thekitze I know it's a joke but is c really that bad - yes it's showing its age. But it's very simple, concepts are shared (read copied) into other languages and learning what goes on 'under the hood' is relatively straightforward compared with modern languages.
@dragosrobertn A lot of people would say that they are not flexible enough (can only be changed 1/quarter). But personally I've found that some (loose) medium term planning/direction avoids some of the incoherent decision making of being perfectly flexible.
