@Pearlofwisdom2@KeeganMatheson He was much harsher publicly with Lauer and Heineman. But they are at a much different place in the ‘corporate culture’ of the team than Vladdy and Springer, so they are ‘easier’ to call out.
@bigsnyds@KeeganMatheson Really surprised that someone could have watched the playoffs last season and think this about Vlad. He has no doubt been a major disappointment so far this year, but he was a beast in the postseason, from his first AB (HR vs. NYY) to his last (double off of Yamamoto).
@KeeganMatheson
Hi Keegs - anything going on with Andres Gimenez? I know there is a lefty starter for BOS but that’s 2 consecutive days out of the lineup. Thx in advance.
@SportsnetPR@Sportsnet@BlueJays You should update this and put David Singh in the ‘News & Insights’ section with Ben and Shi. Dude has been doing good work for years and consistently gets left out of these graphics.
@BringerOfFact@KeeganMatheson I don’t know man - if his teammates can get over it, that’s what matters. He’s pitched a lot of important innings for this team since 2021, and as the saying goes, you can never have enough pitching. As for the `magic beans’ - would you pay the bulk of the $48M just to move him?
@BringerOfFact@KeeganMatheson He’s guaranteed $48M in 2027-28 if he opts in to those years, which he almost certainly will. That, coupled with the injury, does not suggest there is much ‘trade value’ to be recouped.
@RogersHelps@CNBC GM - what’s with the glitchy sound on CNBC on my Rogers channels this morning? Is this a Rogers issue or a CNBC issue? Thx for your help.
