I didn't really know that there was a difference between libel and slander. I know both are types of defamation, but libel means it is written and slander means it is spoken. A small distinction but makes a huge difference. #comm233fa19 #MediaLaw

The most profound quote that I heard in the movie spotlight was "If it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to abuse them" which was said by Mitchell. This quote really foreshadowed how big of a problem this was in the church. Good movie. #comm233fa19 #spotlight
