I think I’ve approached it with a willingness to understand something that has oftentimes been difficult, but everyone deals with mourning in different ways. I think as more family members have passed away, I have unwittingly become the family archivist, although my approach is from an artistic standpoint, and not how you would traditionally catalogue a family history."

RIP to one of the film artists who could rightly be called "radical". His most conventional piece pushes the boundaries of the cinematic form more than some could ever dream of. One can only hope he was made aware of how his film's legacies have sustained after all these decades.
