Plateau State once the proud Home of Peace and Tourism. A place the world longed to experience… our rich culture, breathtaking landscapes, cool climate, and the beauty of our diversity.
Then, the silence was shattered.
Division crept in, and what once bound us together began to slip away.
We found ourselves asking are we still our brother’s keeper?
But no great story ends in darkness.
We are nature’s masterpiece. And our place is not in the shadows, but at the table.
Stronger. United. Unstoppable.
Against All Odds.
Against all odds, promises were made to fix what was broken, to restore hope, and to move Plateau forward.
Today, those promises are turning into action. Step by step, we are building a future where every road leads to opportunity, every journey is easier, and every citizen feels the impact.
This is not just talk. This is commitment. This is progress. This is Plateau rising ,against all odds.

Proper waste disposal and the avoidance of dumping materials that obstruct drainage systems will significantly strengthen the impact of this exercise.
Together, we can build a cleaner environment and ensure a safer rainy season for everyone.
The operation focuses on opening up blocked drainages through the removal of waste materials and accumulated sand that restrict water flow. Our teams are currently active across various locations, with initial work carried out along the Old Bukuru Park axis and Bauchi Road.
As part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all, we have commenced the clearing of drainage channels across the state in preparation for the rainy season and to reduce the risk of flooding in our communities.
Water is life.
Since the beginning of the Time Is Now administration, Governor Caleb Mutfwang has remained committed to improving water supply across Plateau State. Despite challenges, he continues to push for better access to clean water for our people. While every area may not have been reached yet, the progress made cannot go unnoticed.
PLATEAU WILL REMAIN A SAFE HAVEN FOR LAW-ABIDING NIGERIANS — GOVERNOR MUTFWANG
The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring that Plateau State remains a place of refuge for all law-abiding Nigerians displaced from the North Eastern parts of the country.
Governor Mutfwang made this declaration on Sunday during a church service at the EYN-Church of the Brethren in Nigeria, located opposite the Plateau State House of Assembly in Jos. He expressed optimism that God, who watches over the land, will restore lasting peace to Plateau State, the Middle Belt, and Nigeria as a whole.
The governor also expressed deep appreciation to the EYN Church for their steadfast support during the 2023 general elections. He assured the congregation of his administration’s unwavering commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence, as well as the welfare and well-being of all citizens.
“Let us thank God that some of our brethren who were displaced have begun returning home,” he said. “I want to assure you that Plateau State will continue to serve as a refuge for those displaced, particularly from the North East. We pray for the restoration of peace across Plateau, the Middle Belt, and the entire nation.”
Governor Mutfwang called on residents of Plateau State and the Middle Belt to embrace unity and mutual support, urging them to act as their brother’s keeper and avoid divisive tendencies that hinder collective progress. He emphasized the importance of celebrating one another’s successes, noting that resentment toward others’ achievements does not translate into personal advancement.
While acknowledging the limitations of government in addressing every individual need, the governor reiterated his administration’s resolve to meet the collective aspirations of the people. He commended the resilience and dedication of widows, highlighting their strength in the face of adversity as they continue to care for their families and serve God. He also announced plans for a significant intervention aimed at addressing their pressing needs
In his remarks, the Reverend in charge of EYN LCC Jos, Joseph T. Kwaha, expressed gratitude to the governor for his devotion to God and effective leadership. He noted that the governor’s swift response to crises, particularly the attacks in Angwan Rukuba; demonstrates a strong commitment to peace, unity, and security.
The sermon, based on Luke 24:44–53 and themed “Jesus Commissioned and Empowered His Followers,” emphasized the Christian mandate of repentance, salvation, redemption, and the reconciliation of humanity with God.

Apostle Joshua Selman donated relief materials to support victims of recent tragic attacks in Plateau State, bringing a strong message of hope, compassion, and collective responsibility.
During a courtesy visit to Governor Caleb Mutfwang at the Old Government House, Rayfield, Jos, he noted that the delegation came to identify with the people in their moment of grief and to show compassion beyond words. He also shared that discussions were held with the state government on ongoing efforts to address security challenges and improve livelihoods.
Describing Plateau as a place blessed with good people, rich culture, and great potential, he acknowledged the pain caused by recent events but emphasized that hope remains: even in the midst of chaos, God is still on the throne, and there is always a way out.
As a practical demonstration of support, the intervention includes a truckload of 3,000 bags of rice, cooking oil for distribution across communities and church blocs, alongside additional financial support targeted at affected families. While noting that such assistance cannot replace lost lives, he described it as a gesture of comfort and solidarity.
Receiving the donation, Governor Mutfwang expressed deep gratitude, describing the gesture as timely and compassionate. He highlighted it as a reflection of unity and shared responsibility, while reiterating ongoing efforts by the government and religious bodies to support all affected persons, regardless of religious affiliation.
He also called for sustained collaboration among stakeholders and urged citizens both at home and in the diaspora to contribute to peacebuilding efforts, reaffirming the government’s commitment to restoring stability and expressing confidence that Plateau State will rise above its challenges and reclaim its place as a beacon of hope.
As we celebrate Easter, we are reminded of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, a powerful symbol of new beginnings, restoration, and the triumph of life over death. It is a reminder that light can always overcome darkness.
Through Christ, even from ashes, beauty can rise again.

These efforts have strengthened internal cohesion and ensured a level playing field for all members to pursue their aspirations without rancour.
I acknowledge the tireless efforts and leadership of Prof. Goshwe since his unanimous adoption in June 2025. In a strategic effort to boost economic growth and expand opportunities for entrepreneurs, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bank of Industry to establish a ₦4 billion matching fund aimed at strengthening Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises across the state.
Speaking during the signing ceremony, the Managing Director of the Bank of Industry, Olasupo Olusi, commended the Governor for championing what he described as a visionary initiative designed to empower businesses and drive sustainable economic development. He explained that beyond financing, the partnership will also provide training and capacity-building programmes through accredited Entrepreneurship Development Centres to equip MSMEs with the skills needed to grow and remain competitive.
According to him, the BOI–Plateau State Government Matching Fund will expand access to affordable, long-term financing for businesses across the state. The initiative will provide single-digit interest rate loans, support both equipment acquisition and working capital needs, and offer funding of up to ₦100 million per beneficiary, with a repayment period of up to five years and a moratorium of up to 12 months after disbursement.
Mr. Olusi noted that the collaboration will strengthen Plateau State’s business environment, stimulate job creation, deepen local value chains, and unlock sustainable growth opportunities for entrepreneurs.
Signing on behalf of the state government, Governor Mutfwang described the initiative as a major step toward expanding livelihood opportunities, promoting enterprise development, and reducing poverty, particularly among women and young people.
The Governor emphasized that the fund will provide affordable financing that enables businesses to grow, create jobs, and contribute more meaningfully to the economy. He added that the initiative aligns with the broader national vision of building a stronger economy while positioning Plateau State as a key contributor to Nigeria’s economic growth.
Governor Mutfwang further assured that innovative and enterprising businesses across all parts of the state will be identified and supported, ensuring that the benefits of economic growth reach communities across Plateau State.
