Let me tell you something many people don't know when buying used iPhones.

Although some people already know they're supposed to check the Parts & Service History, there's something else many buyers fail to check:

The Panic Log.

Panic logs can show you if the iPhone has experienced serious system crashes that can cause sudden restarts, freezing or other problems.

To check for panic logs:
Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Analytics Data

Then search for “panic.”

- If you don't see any panic logs, that's generally a good sign.

- But if you see anything like panic-full or panic-base, it's worth paying attention to. Don't panic, though. Just check the dates.

- If you see a few old panic logs, that's not necessarily a problem. But then, this suggests that the phone experienced some issues at those points in time.

- 🚩🚩 If you see many recent panic logs, that's a major RED FLAG. It means the phone has been experiencing repeated serious system crashes. You definitely want to be careful about such a phone.

And I'm sure you wouldn't want to buy a phone that'd be constantly crashing and restarting.

So, don't just check the Parts & Service History. Check the Panic Logs too.
