@RCNNRN @JessLSainsbury No. It’s not a concern. Why not recognise talent and transferable skills / life experience? If the criteria for ascension to more senior posts becomes purely one of length of service then the NHS will overlook ability and will risk perpetuating a culture of “failing upwardly”.
