Gene Shalit, the Today Show's wacky, mustached, pun loving movie reviewer, died Friday. He was 100.

Shalit was a mainstay on the NBC morning show for 40 years until his retirement in November 2010.

His family says he “passed away peacefully today after 100 years of an amazing life"

The same people losing their minds over Elon Musk’s success never seemed too concerned when billions of taxpayer dollars were getting burned on wasteful programs, bloated bureaucracy, and government pet projects.
