Celebrating that a woman plays the male role instead of man, but annoyed because she’s not disabled? someone help me out here… are we sticking the source or not? Would love some insight
@MxBenSpiller@danekaetchells Ohh right? I would’ve thought there was frustration with that as well (The role being written specifically for a male person with disability featuring their inherent psychology and unique life experience)
@danekaetchells thankyou! Interesting read. I somewhat understand the frustration with their creative decision. Is there any frustrations with the role being cast as female as well??
Checked out Mandy for the first time in a while, why do Filmmakers think it’s acceptable to ask for a tape upfront just to apply?
I LOVE auditioning, but I don’t even know if I look right for the role.
Am I the only one who gets triggered by this?
