Dear Mr. President @StateHouseKenya
Women are asking to be heard not as a political constituency, but as citizens whose rights are protected by the Constitution.
Today I write a letter on women’s rights, SRHR, GBV and family values is out today @NationAfrica#MrPresidentHearUs
Food brings motive ,When we complain about things just know food is part of it .We need to normalize food and Nutrition talks .
Good Nutrion is the Future @diabetestrust@_Atamba
Most food choices we make everyday depends on our income .
@vicco_ke@ViccoMukuru .Rescuing food and feeding the vulnurable informal settlements is not just important but improves their Nutritional requirement .
We Should consider Nutrition as an investment and not expense
According to Food and Agriculture Organisation access to Nutritious food has risen to about 500 kenya shillings .This is high to people who come from informal settlements, their livelihoods are threatened .We need to revisit our right to food ASAP
@diabetestrust@_Atamba
People from informal settlements have low access to nutritious food because of low income ,unemployments and higher cases of poverty.these leads to undernutrition for all, people are eating Bora chakula .Do we really enjoy our right to FOOD ??

We cannot reduce one addiction by normalising another.
The goal isn't simply fewer cigarettes. It is less addiction.

PERIOD!
We have normalised a contradiction that should trouble us: the people who produce the food that sustains our families, cities, schools, hospitals and economies are often among those with the least economic security. Poverty should NOT be an inherent feature of food production. If food has economic value, then the people who produce it must be able to capture a fair share of that value.
Farmers and fishers carry production risks - climate shocks, disease, rising input costs, post-harvest losses, and volatile markets - while often having limited bargaining power, inadequate infrastructure, weak access to finance and limited opportunities for value addition. We cannot continue designing policies that focus primarily on increasing production while neglecting the incomes, rights, markets and economic power of the people producing that food.
A just food system must therefore be judged not only by how much food it produces, but also by whether it creates decent and dignified livelihoods for those who produce it. Farmers and fishers should not be treated merely as beneficiaries of development programmes. They are economic actors whose labour creates immense social and economic value. If we want resilient food systems, we must build food economies in which the people who feed us can also build prosperous lives.

The Constitution is not anti-government.
It is anti-unaccountable power.
There is a difference.
A functioning Katiba tells power:
1. Here is what you may do.
2. Here are your limits.
3. And here is who you answer to.
