🚨 BUILDER HANDCUFFED, THEN EXPOSES UNDERWEIGHT CEMENT BAGS.

A dedicated builder repeatedly warned the public that bags labeled 50kg were actually much lighter. Instead of being thanked, cement companies had him arrested for "damaging their brand."

When police took him to the site in handcuffs to verify, every bag weighed between 40.7 and 41kg, the bags didn't weigh 50kg. Tororo Cement bags weighed around 40.7 to 41kg. That's nearly 10 kilos missing per bag, pure theft from hardworking Ugandans.

This underweight scam cheats buyers and weakens concrete, putting lives at risk. We need UNBS and authorities to investigate immediately and protect consumers.

65-year-old David Turyatunguka worked for the Coca-Cola Company for about six years as a crate loader. In 2021, he developed a back condition that left him with a disability, prompting him to stop working in 2022. Since then, he has been unsuccessfully pursuing his NSSF retirement benefits.
