Thanks to funding from the #NRRP, we are continuing to strengthen our ties with more than 80 million Italians and people of Italian descent around the world, bring new resources to local areas, boost tourism and promote the #exports of our businesses.
The figures confirm this: there were 7.4 million roots travellers in 2025, spending over 5 billion euros.
Roots Tourism stems from this vision: to transform the bond with 🇮🇹 into an opportunity for those wishing to rediscover their origins and into a concrete opportunity for development in our regions."

Grazie ai fondi del #PNRR, continuiamo a rafforzare il legame con gli oltre 80 milioni di italiani e italo-discendenti nel mondo, per portare nuove risorse nei territori, dare slancio al turismo e favorire l’#export delle nostre imprese.
I dati lo confermano: i viaggiatori delle radici sono stati 7,4 milioni nel 2025 con una spesa di oltre 5 miliardi di euro.
Il Turismo delle Radici nasce da questa visione: trasformare il legame con l'Italia in un’opportunità per chi desidera riscoprire le proprie origini e in un’occasione concreta di sviluppo per i nostri territori.
