@DrHOSP1 Die Rassismuskeule war der Grund, aus dem es zu dem Fiasko gekommen ist.
Wenn du sie Jahrzehnte später immer noch schwingst, wurde der Fall nicht ausreichend aufgearbeitet.
@Mystikart_ Cool.
Best of luck in your continued journey :)
And dont let a set back put you off. One always learns more from failures than from sucesses :)
@Mystikart_ Youre quite welcome.
Your game looking good for a sub 10 game is only gonna work in your favour. At this point, it has to compete with games that cost up to 20.
And given that your game is kinda light on gameplay (sorry, but it has to be said) id try and dodge that competition.
@zeitonline Ist ganz einfach.
@MajorMinority27@NilesSankey Wanting something and knowing and being able to articulate what exactly it is that you want are two different things.
"If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said "faster horses""
Henry Ford.
@EyeOfScar@Mystikart_ Member Superman 64? You flew around collecting orbs there too. That game famously failed, because of exactly that.
I totally get your game btw. Blasting hordes for an hour or so sounds like fun. I get it. I still dont get Mesoké.
@EyeOfScar@Mystikart_ Havent played any of those unfortunately, but they seem to be heavy on story and exploration. Thats fine.
"Collecting orbs" is not really interacting with the world.
Sliding down dunes or freezing to death in a snow biome like in Journey would be interacting with the world.
@EyeOfScar@Mystikart_ Granted, I am not a game designer, but as a trained industrial designer, we both share the concept of MVP.
I think he might have missed that memo.
@EyeOfScar@Mystikart_ From what I can tell by the footage, that aspect is lacking as well. It doesnt seem to matter much wether you fly through a tropical ruin or a snowy landscape...
I do wish him well, but I think he spent his time unwisely. Get a good loop first, THEN make intricate maps.
