Le racisme est un mécanisme de déshumanisation.
Cette mise à distance d’autrui conduit toujours à la violence.
Le ministre de l’Intérieur devrait combattre les groupuscules nazis qui existent dans le pays.
Let's not forget where Mao stood on the Issue of Israel-Palestine.
To those of you who support both Taiwan and Palestine -- now's your chance to reconsider.
@RnaudBertrand Milei visited Spain and called Sanchez a dictator and the king refused to meet him. And Spain is calling for sn apology. There is a spanish rapper sitting in jail for insulting the royal family. There are plenty of examples.
Real Madrid has a big problem of double standard on discrimination against China. Mbappé is just the latest example.
2024: The grandson of former Real Madrid president Lorenzo Sanz was filmed singing a racist song targeting Chinese women. The Chinese Embassy in Spain lodged a formal protest; the club dismissed it as "isolated behavior by individual fans" and moved on. No formal apology, no real punishment.
February 2026: Current player Huijsen shared anti-Asian content. He apologized only on Chinese social media platform Weibo. The statement was not posted to Real Madrid's official website or overseas accounts, and Huijsen's own global accounts stayed silent. It was criticized as a "Weibo-exclusive apology."
2026: Real Madrid's official overseas social media account listed Tibet alongside Nepal as a separate disaster-affected entity, playing word games with Chinese sovereignty. It later deleted the post only after official media criticism. Still no apology.
The contrast is telling. When a fan was caught doing a Nazi salute in a Champions League match, Real Madrid immediately issued a strong condemnation. When Vinícius faced racist abuse, the club publicly demanded punishment. The standard exists. Real Madrid simply didn’t apply when China is the target.
Now, China has fully banned Mbappé. Mbappé himself has apologized. La Liga has apologized. But Real Madrid is still shielding discrimination and doesn’t apologize.
As for Real Madrid’s claim that its partnerships with Chinese sponsors remain unchanged, China’s CCTV has just responded that "We hope Real Madrid stops daydreaming. Until the apology is properly delivered, everything is off the table."
@EvenMorePaxton From my experience the Irish are very honest about their history as a part of the British Empire they acknowledge Irish suffered horribly but Irish people did benefit from white Privilege in a lot of places
The bulk of westerners have no clue about the opium wars and how their countries benefited from pillaging China. If you did, then you'd know why so many of the predator class in the west are afraid of retribution. So they fill their peons with bs, to hide their past deeds.
Meanwhile, the "I don't see color" people had a racist terror act over the weekend in Trappes. In which a Black man was left dead and some injured. But some want to play this foolishness when shit is getting serious.
We are entering an age of anti-colonialism. The world is rejecting the institutions of imperial domination and building alternatives. Political independence was only the beginning. The struggle now is for economic sovereignty and popular power. #AntiColonialism
