Very happy and proud of our student Ms Samarpita Dash, PhD Scholar, School of Mass Communication, KIIT Deemed to be University, for receiving the Odisha State Film Award as Best Actress (Jury) for the film Ae Akasha Tale.
It is a happy moment for the entire KIIT family to see our student being recognised in Odia cinema. At KIIT, we always try to give our students opportunities in every field, so that they can discover their talent and move forward with confidence. This is the beauty of KIIT.
My heartiest congratulations and best wishes to Samarpita. May she continue to make KIIT and Odisha proud.
On World Athletics Day, my good wishes to all athletes.
Athletics teaches discipline, hard work and confidence. It gives young people strength not only in sport, but also in life. At KIIT and KISS, we have always tried to create a strong sports ecosystem where talent can grow with proper care, coaching and opportunity.
My best wishes to all athletes for their future.
Humble tributes to Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore on his Birth Anniversary.
His life, thoughts and writings continue to guide us towards truth, beauty, humanity and love for the nation. Gurudev’s contribution to art, literature, education and culture will always remain a great inspiration for all of us.
My respectful tributes to the great soul.
Inaugurated a photo exhibition at Montana State University, USA, showcasing Incredible India and especially the rich heritage, culture and tourism places of Odisha.
I was very happy and surprised to see the memories of their India Trek visit being presented so beautifully on a foreign land. We had brought them to Odisha to experience what they called the “best kept secret of India”, and they have carried back those memories with so much love.
Seeing Odisha’s temples, sea, culture and people being shown with such respect in the USA made me very happy. The photographs of Puri, Konark, Chilika and many other places of Odisha were also showcased across 9 states in the north-western part of the USA.
My sincere thanks to Montana State University and photographer Sam Horine for presenting Odisha and India so nicely before the people of the USA.
I feel very happy to see my lovable KISS children doing so well in Romania.
My tribal children from KISS are performing Santali dance and Shakespeare in Santali on a foreign land, and I have been told that everyone there is appreciating them with so much love. This gives me great happiness.
This is the best way to give good exposure to our tribal children from India, particularly Odisha. When our children go to another country and receive love for their talent and culture, it gives them more confidence in life.
My blessings and best wishes to all my students in Romania. They are bringing a good name to Odisha, India, KIIT and KISS, and presenting the tribal language and culture of India and Odisha with pride on a foreign land.
On National Technology Day, my good wishes to all scientists, researchers, innovators and young minds.
Technology becomes meaningful when it serves people. May our youth use science and innovation for education, healthcare, society and nation-building. #NationalTechnologyDay
I am grateful to my mother for her unconditional love and blessings. Whatever I am today is because of her. Even today, I feel she is holding my hand and guiding me silently.

Deeply pained by the tragic fire incident at a coaching centre in Aliganj, Lucknow.
It is heartbreaking to know that young students lost their precious lives. For any parent, losing a young child is the greatest pain in life. No words can reduce the grief of the families.
Young lives are priceless for the family, society and the nation. Such painful incidents should never happen again. The safety of children and young students must always be our highest priority.
My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families, and I pray for the speedy recovery of all those injured. May God give strength to the families to bear this unbearable loss and grant eternal peace to the departed souls.
Om Shanti.
On Olympic Day, I extend my warm wishes to all sportspersons, coaches, students, sports lovers and especially our KIIT & KISS students who have made us proud as Olympians.
The Olympic spirit teaches us that sports is not only about winning medals. It is about discipline, hard work, friendship, respect and the courage to keep moving forward.
At KIIT & KISS, we have always tried to create an environment where children and young athletes get the right facilities, coaching and care to dream bigger. When I see our students play with confidence and sincerity, I feel very happy from within.
May the Olympic spirit continue to inspire every child to play, learn, grow and never give up.
