🚨ALERT: Please water new street trees!
It's HOT and Lewisham's street tree charity @STfLLondon has issued a borough-wide alert for the community to water their nearest new trees. Each new tree needs 20-30L of water every week. It's Sunday morning, go out and get watering!

@LewishamGardens Thank you! We’re really proud of what the Green Team have achieved, it’s such a transformation. And it is a big hit with the bees and butterflies, doing our bit to keep them thriving.

We may be an urban school but our Green Team makes sure we are an oasis of beauty. Our @sandhurstps playground is a burst of colour right now thanks to these amazing volunteers. It’s so important for our pupils to have the natural world around them. And the bees love it too!

Brilliant work from our runners and those at Torridon. Both schools are fundraising for new playground equipment. We both have small and rather grey playgrounds and our kids would all really benefit from some upgrades. Thank you for your support.

Parents and teachers at Torridon and Sandhurst Schools took part in the Hither Half / 10k run today!

They raced around parks in Ladywell, Catford, and Hither Green to raise money for new playground equipment.
