i think the USA could learn from the laws we have here in the UK. If a woman has taken drink or drugs then she is INCAPABLE of consent and so it’s automatically rape. Why any man would think a woman was capable of giving consent in those circumstances is surprising and perhaps this incident will leads for greater protections for women and girls in the USA

Men shouldn't be in women's and girls' changing rooms, period. There is no test in existence to determine whether a man is or is not a threat to women before he's committed an assault. Innumerable men who claim to be women have sexually assaulted women. A simple Google search will give you the names and histories.

Men as a group pose a threat to women, as a group. The statistics don't change when the men identify as women. On the contrary, there are currently more trans-identified men in jail in the UK for sexual offences than there are among the general male prison population.

The reason this man was able to access unclothed women is that Planet Fitness thought it was progressive to let men into women's single-sex spaces. Women have been warning for years that women and girls would be harmed if corporations and institutions decided to placate the trans lobby and admit men to changing rooms and public bathrooms. These sexual assaults were entirely preventable. I repeat: I hope the women who've been assaulted sue.

it’s supply and demand every local council sets its holiday dates so perhaps take it up with them. Previously as a single mum i found long school holidays incredibly difficult particularly as my school club required collection over lunch making it impossible for me to work during summer or i had to pay prohibited childcare costs which were more than i earned. I resigned my job and went into politics!

This needs a lead from politicians. They need to be crystal clear about the law and to tell public bodies like NHS Trust after NHS Trust that are unlawfully discriminating against women by placing male demands for access to their spaces over their needs that it has to stop.
