Republicans interrogating Biden’s nominee for U.S. Secretary of Labor, Julie Su, over the fact that she never ran a business is just an excuse for them to try and prevent an Asian American female from making history.

I don’t recall them caring one iota that Trump nominated Betsy DeVos as his Secretary of Education. She literally had never worked in a public school, had never been a teacher, a school administrator or served on any board of education.

Julie Su is the right woman for the job.

Two of the GOP lawmakers, who voted against the repeal argued that the law encourages marriage and strengthen families. Another seven quietly supported the measure.

Democrats slammed the GOP remarks and accused them of being out of touch with modern times.
