What matters to us, as marginalized people, is this: Does this composition reflect the social character of the Indian Republic?
For us, justice begins with representation, and there can be no compromise on that principle. Any political party or pressure group that negotiates away equitable representation, in any form, merely reinforces the status quo.
Not surprised to see a Reddy leader appointed to head the Cockroach Janata South unit. Land-owning dominant-caste franchises at the federal units have always been a characteristic of the Indian party system, and Cockroach Janata offers nothing new.
@CharanT16
Many congratulations to each and every one of you!
The Cockroach Movement has awakened not just the youth, but the conscience of our nation. The fight that began for accountability has now become a reminder that democracy belongs to its people and that no generation is powerless when it chooses to stand together.
Now begins the harder journey, to restore our democratic institutions in full, to defend the Constitution, to revive the culture of accountability, and to secure a brighter future for India’s youth that is suppressed under a host of issues that the present political class gives no damn about.
Generations before us built this Republic. Now the Gen-Z and the young generation will ensure that it endures.
Remember, the future belongs to those who refuse to surrender. Jai Hind! ✊🏻

External war does not automatically translate into internal rebellion; it often transforms political contestation into a question of sovereignty

@ActorSivaji comments are vulgar and derogatory, but the public fixation on who condemned them remains a surface debate. The deeper issue lies in the Tollywood ecosystem itself—an industry shaped by dominant caste (Kamma–Kapu) networks of power and capital that routinely normalise coercion, humiliation, and gendered ridicule as culture. Ironically, feminist critiques articulated from within this space continue to operate inside the same cultural economy—for instance, @Chinmayi participation in romantic narratives that normalise non-consensual male protagonists in films like #Geetagovindam , or @anusuyakhasba association with low brow comedy formats like #jabardasth show that repeatedly endorse sexism and objectify women. Shivaji is a symptom, not the source; when this caste–capital base goes uninterrogated, critique resonates more as selective outrage rather than structural change.
American conservative activist Charlie Kirk’s death is tragic, but the legitimisation of his politics reveals how democracies are crumbling under spectacle and division.

Rahul Gandhi assured the people of Dharavi that Congress is on the side of the poor.
But a troubling contradiction is playing out in the Hyderabad where Congress is auctioning 400 acres of University of Hyderabad land.

“In my latest @newslaundry piece, I call out @RahulGandhi troubling contradictions—especially his selective solidarity during the @HydUniv movement. While he speaks of justice in Dharavi, his party enables private-led development at UoH.

The fate of this nation will not be changed by General Category unity—it will be changed by justice, accountability, and caste-based data-driven policy-making.
So, lets dissect the hypocrisy and will unite behind one real demand—CASTE CENSUS NOW!
The caste census is fundamentally a policy question. Sound public policy can only be developed when we have accurate data on demographics and social disadvantages of the population, especially as we live in a caste-based society. Those who argue that a caste census would further entrench caste divisions should recognize that this data reveals nothing new; as Caste is embedded into our everyday social interactions and our caste identities are well known to our local figures like sarpanches, temple priests, church pastors, and party leaders. From “vegetarian-only” signs and rental exclusions against SC/ST individuals to caste-based matrimonial websites and the common use of caste-specific surnames, our society is very much conscious of caste distinctions. The census merely formalizes data that is already an open secret within our social structure.
