I think for Pokémon/Gamefreak to meaningfully bring quality back they should have a battle simulator game, basically Showdown on Switch. And then have their releases be narrative and art-design led games like Legends Arceus all with a small Dex. You can't do both each release.

@soulsilverart If there is one thing the Pokémon franchise does, it's introducing new characters. It's so rare that any character in the franchise ever gets to see the light of day again. B2W2 remains as the only game that truly takes established characters and pushes them further. It's sad.

@KingCorphish I've seen people use Raid Dens as encounters as that keeps it random and gives you a different Tera-types to deepen the gameplay.
