మహాత్మా గాంధీని హత్య చేసినవారే మమ్మల్ని దేశవిద్రోహులుగా పిలుస్తున్నారు. ...మహాత్మా గాంధీ హంతకులకు ఇతరులను యాంటీ నేషనల్ అని పిలిచే నైతిక హక్కు లేదు.

కచ్చితంగా అంతే. నిజమైన ప్రజాభిప్రాయం తెలుసుకోవడానికి ఇలాంటి ఉపఎన్నికలను వాడుకుంటారనేదే నా అభిప్రాయం కూడా. కానీ ప్రశాంత్ కిషోర్ లాంటి వారిని కూడా లైట్ తీసుకుంటారని ఊహించలేదు. అంటే ఓవర్ కాన్ఫిడెన్స్ ఏ లెవెల్లో ఉందో మనం అర్థం చేసుకోవచ్చు.

అదే సమయంలో, ఈ ఒక్క ఓటమి భాజపా వెంట్రుకను కూడా కదల్చలేదు అనేది కూడా అంతే వాస్తవం. జరగాల్సిన యుద్ధం వేరే, దాని క్షేత్రం వేరే. అక్కడ దాన్ని కొట్టగలిగినవారు ఇంకా తయారవలేదు. సమాజం ఆలోచించే విధానంలో సరైన మార్పు వస్తే కానీ అది సాధ్యమయ్యే ప్రసక్తే లేదు.

అది కూడా, పొగడ్తలకు మాత్రమే స్పందించే పరమ నీచ నికృష్టమైన దరిద్రపుగొట్టు లక్షణం నిలువెల్లా కలిగిన అలాంటి వ్యక్తిని పొగుడుతూ పోతే అదే నిజమనుకుని, ఇంకా ఇంకా అలాగే ఉబ్బిపోతూ దేశం మొత్తాన్ని ఇంకా చంక నాకించేస్తాడు. అలాగని రాష్ట్రానికి ఒరగబెడుతున్న పరమ ఎగస్ట్రా విషయాలేమీ లేవు. ఇంతవరకూ విభజన చట్టంలో విషయాలే పూర్తిగా సెటిల్ చేయలేదు. ఆఖరుకు డెవొల్యూషన్ ఆఫ్ ఫండ్స్ హక్కుగా రావలసినవి వస్తే కూడా దానికి కూడా ఉత్త థాంక్స్ సరిపోయేదానికి కూడా అతిగానే పొగుడుతున్నారు. ఆ పొగిడేవాళ్ళకు ఏం అవసరాలున్నాయో, పొగిడించుకునేవాళ్ళకు ఏం దురదలున్నాయో అవి తర్వాత విషయాలు. వాటిని కూడా సమర్థించుకుంటూ చూసీ చూడనట్లు పోయేంత వరస్ట్ బిహేవియర్ మనకుండాల్సిన అవసరం లేదన్నదే, బానిసలది కాకుండా, మామూలు మనుషుల అభిప్రాయం.

పక్క వీధుల్లో విషయాలు మాత్రమే కాదు పక్క రాష్ట్రాలు, పక్క దేశాల గురించి కూడా మాట్లాడతాం, బరాబర్ మాట్లాడతాం. మీ దిక్కున్నచోట చెప్పుకోండి.

A deeply cunning man was glorified as a hero - Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a staunch supporter of child marriage and a believer in the caste hierarchy, is praised only because he was a Brahmin.

He did not contribute a single meaningful step toward social reform, yet is celebrated while true reformers are sidelined.

“Tilak was not a reformer. He was a revivalist. He stood for orthodoxy. He opposed every attempt to reform Hindu society.” – Dr. Ambedkar

“Tilak denounced the Age of Consent Bill. He preferred religion over reason, scriptural tradition over social justice.” - Dr. Ambedkar

In 1889, Minor Girl Phulmoni Dasi died in Bengal after her 35-year-old husband forced himself on her on their wedding night, she died from severe internal injuries. The outrage led to the Age of Consent Act, 1891, which made it rape to have sex with a wife under 12, even if married. Leaders like Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Madan Mohan Malaviya opposed the law, calling it interference in Hindu traditions.

Tilak criticized it in his paper ‘Kesari’. Bal Gangadhar Tilak didn’t just oppose Vedic education for women - he opposed all education for women & Bahujans. He attacked Phule’s schools for girls & lower castes, calling them a threat to “nationality” because they disrupted caste order.

Bal Gangadhar Tilak fiercely opposed widow remarriage, calling it anti-Hindu and a threat to tradition. He saw such reforms as an attack on Brahminical caste order and Hindu dharma - all in the name of “nationalism.”

This is a long standing myth in South Asia when it comes to jaundice.

Jaundice is not a disease, it's the symptom of a disease. It can be liver related or non liver related.

Acute hepatitis leading to jaundice is the most common cause of jaundice in India. It's due to food and water borne viruses.
These are self limiting. Meaning it will go away in a few days to weeks and does not require treatment.

But it does require nutrition. Going on a bland diet, eating boiled food and sustaining on vegetables and avoiding oil is not how we treat jaundice of hepatitis.

Eat well, eat more...eat carbs, proteins and fats. Recovery will be quicker with good nutrition.

Stop believing in and celebrating, or promoting ancient traditional myths. It only increases food anxiety and prolongs disease course, and nothing else.

My patients recover quickly because I allow them everything during treatment period. Fried foods, whey proteins, thick fruit smoothies, lean meat and poultry and desserts. It's all fine.
