Miller, who served under President Biden from 2023 to 2025, emphasized that while in office, his role required him to represent the administration’s positions rather than his personal views. Now out of government, he feels free to express his own opinions.

@keithellison Hard to think, having been a Democrat all my life, but it appears the party is unreformable—caught in the grip of the neoliberal monied class. We need someone to lead and build from the grassroots up a progressive party, at least one that speaks for the majority.

@davidsirota Good point. As aprogressive I had trouble thinking of voting for Kamala Harris but now that I see she’s just surrounded by all the neons that are carrying out this war on Gaza and our past wars, in no way am I going to vote for her.
