Very painful to watch . This is exactly what happens when the law is vague. If the law says people must dress decently, then define what decent means. we all come from diverse backgrounds and may have very different ideas about what may or may not violate the law. You can’t enforce a law on vague standards. Women are responsible citizens and should not be perceived as perpetrators of violence, we are partners of development and all we need is clarity. Whether we agree or disagree on the imposed standards, all we need is clarification. Laws should be sufficiently clear and predictable so that people can understand what is prohibited and authorities cannot exercise unlimited discretion.
