Happy #CleanAirDay! Obvs every day should be a clean air day - but until it is, we'll keep on campaigning. You can help by signing @globalactplan's petition to call on our next government to ensure everyone can travel in cleaner & greener ways. #CleanAir

School children from across the city have gathered at Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum today for a special event marking #CleanAirDay.
The pupils are learning about changes they can make to improve air quality, and have put together their own Clean Air Charters.
We had a fantastic time celebrating #CleanAirDay at the ThinkTank Museum. Pupils from various #Birmingham schools got involved with a variety of activities, including creating their own air pollution monitors and presenting their ideas to clean up the air around their schools.
Could you go car free for a month or perhaps even longer?
Give it a go this June and sign up for our national Going Car Free Challenge 👇

Pupils at @Ninestiles are launching their own initiative in support of #WalkToSchoolWeek later this month! Pupils will be using the money they won at the @TeamModeshift active travel junction event to incentivise peers to travel sustainably to school 🚲🚶🏽 https://t.co/sih7LEcWnL
We were joined by local schoolchildren from @alstonprimaryb9, healthcare professionals, and representatives from @Bham_FOE, @Sustrans, @MumsForLungs, and more.
Thank you to all those who came to the event to show your support for clean air 🌍
Today, we've been in Birmingham to mark #WorldAsthmaDay. Over 300,000 people live with asthma in the West Midlands, 45,000 of these are children.
We met with newly elected West Mids Mayor, @RichParkerLab to make sure a region with cleaner air is made a priority from day one.
Officers received calls about a vehicle on a junction , blocking the pavement causing children / pedestrians with buggys to have to walk in the road. It was in a dangerous position so we decided to seize the car rather than ticket. We hope "Message received"
📢Good News! We will be hosting led rides, route finding & Dr Bike sessions over the next 2 months from @mac_birmingham. The perfect way to get active while having fun & exploring outdoors together with the support of a super friendly group.
