In the middle of the pain you didn’t cause, the change you didn’t want, or the reality you didn’t know was coming... your life can still be beautiful.
Let’s ask the Father to open our eyes to His goodness, His faithfulness, and His beauty, right where we are today.
Here’s one thing I always know for certain … what the enemy meant for evil God will use for good.
I will trust in God. Serve God. And even in the darkest nights when I still cry, I will find rest in the light of his love. Then tomorrow, I’ll get up and do it all again.
Just a thought: We often think that busy people are driven and focused. But when busyness draws us away from that which is of first importance—family, the hurting, and intimacy with God—it mutates into tragic distraction.
In the midst of circumstances that leave us feeling shaken, we must allow the truth of who God is to steady us.
Let’s praise God today for who He is … Our God who fulfills His purposes. Our God who saves. Our God whose steadfast love and faithfulness know no end.
It's easy to get discouraged in waiting seasons. That's why it's wise to fill the gap between here & there by proclaiming every hint of God’s activity. We can make a list & acknowledge that just because God is silent in one area of our life doesn’t mean He’s silent in every area.
Tonight, what if we prayed prayers that made God our focus rather than our circumstances?
Prayers like...
God, despite my circumstances, I will find reasons to praise You.
God, even when I feel disappointed by what life brings, I will trust You to bring good out of bad.
Even when it doesn’t make sense to us… even when it feels painfully impossible… especially when it seems unfair… God’s Word is good, and it’s for our good. And He has not left us powerless to live it out today.
