PLEASE READ: Today was quite a day & it was nothing to do with the Pally protest. I can’t, in all honesty, process all that I was told by those on a disillusioned & demoralised Met front-line. As soon as I got there, a rumour that 45 TSG officers were being tenured out, was confirmed more than once. I listened to problems re training, communications (carrying out a simple check) & if the Commissioner thinks that tenure is welcomed by the front line, he is being misinformed. it is clearly a case of the King’s New Clothes. I didn’t bring up the issue of Moroccan fans in London attacking Met officers & allegations from the far right that Met officers are cowards. There was fury that Met comms failed to respond to this incident. As I stated earlier, I couldn’t process all that I was being told. The simple fact is that, in football parlance, the Metropolitan police dressing room has been lost; the Met hierarchy have to accept this and begin correcting the situation, starting by actually listening to its rank and file.

NEW: Big update on the publicised counter terror news that Keir Starmer posted about the other day - a supposed far right threat to an Islamic event in Suffolk.

After 13 arrests… no charges.

Commander Helen Flanagan, Head of CTP London said: “This has been a fast-moving investigation after we became aware of information to indicate there was a potential threat towards the Islamic event over the course of last weekend.

BT working with Moneysupermarket and wanted to get me a better internet deal. I did an internet speed test on my phone at the door and something wasn't quite right. He was very polite and plausible but I later checked and MoneySupermarket don't do Door to Door. I've changed the passwords on my router and will be reporting him to the police. Suggest anyone else that has been in the same situation does the same. Also heard that another chap has been doing something similar in Lifton

He questioned a female police officer about two migrants impersonating security officers at a migrant hotel. No badges. No licenses. Plus they were dealing with members of the public.

But the police officer didn’t seem interested. She wasn’t willing to challenge them properly or stop it on the spot she seemed content to leave it to the hotel.

How is that acceptable? Public safety matters. If someone is impersonating security, the police should be dealing with it properly, not passing the buck.
