#Tradwives is a class issue:

My great-grandmother died when my granny was 9.

My granny was put in a Magdalene Laundry at 15.

My mother left Ireland at 17 because De Valera's poncing around islolationism meant there were no jobs.

That's just my maternal line.

I had to work, even after I had children, just like my mother, grandmother and great-grandmother before me.

Because I'm working class.

I was lucky, I had my mum and so did my kids.

Every single woman in my family worked.

They had to.

This whole #Tradwives debate means nothing to me, and every other working class woman, because I did not have the choice to stay at home anyway.

If women do have the choice, and want to stay at home with their children, the Government should move mountains to accommodate them.

Children are our future. Mothers make that happen, with the backup of fathers.

Other than that this is all a very middle class conversation.

The most-cited Irish study into the "manosphere" is this Dept of Justice funded report from DCU, "Recommending Toxicity"

Let me just tell you this is possibly least credible report on any topic I've ever read ever. Not joking.

Written by Dr Catherine Baker, Prof Debbie Ging and Dr Maja Brandt Andreasen, it is filled with total bias and junior cert level methodology:

They used just 10 accounts.

They spent a grand total of 12 hours 43minutes on TikTok as the basis for the research. 29hours for YouTube.

They define toxicity circularly.

"Toxic" means any content promoting "dominance, physicality, aggression, discipline, wealth or emotional stoicism."

Discipline. Wealth. Stoicism ... all toxic.

A gym motivation clip is "toxic." That was their single biggest category.

They ran zero statistical tests, then claimed one group saw a "significantly higher" amount of toxic content anyway.

Anti-feminism content = misogyny, by definition.

Their codebook counts any content "opposed to gender equality or feminism as "toxic".

So any disagreement whatsoever to feminist content is automatically toxic.

"Anti-progressive" content = toxic too.

Trump & Piers Morgan all toxic.

The researchers manufactured their own result. Their method: "if the researcher was suggested a video containing problematic content... they watched and liked the video"

So they trained the algorithm on "toxic" content. And then reported the algorithm serves "toxic" content.

The blank control account, (the one phone showing what a normal passive user gets), never appears in the findings.

The “mandatory acceptance of the digital euro” is “necessary”, said the Commissioner for the Economy, Valdis Dombrovskis, in response to a parliamentary question on the matter.

"European Commission’s proposal “grants the digital euro, as a new, digital form of the single currency, legal tender status,” in the same way as banknotes and coins, for which acceptance is mandatory. The Commissioner for Economic Affairs insists that the latter is “necessary to ensure the effective use of the euro as the EU’s single currency, which is the very objective of Article 133 of the TFEU. The mandatory acceptance will allow the digital euro to enjoy a sufficiently uniform level of acceptance throughout the euro area. In the absence of this acceptance requirement, there would be a risk that the digital euro is accepted only selectively, leading to a fragmented usability of the digital euro, which stands in contrast to the aim of Article 133 of the TFEU,” Dombrovskis said.

What he fails to mention is that mandatory acceptance means forcing businesses to accept a new government-backed digital currency that interferes with their right to contract and trade freely. It goes without saying that this imposes mandatory digital currency trading on all businesses, and this is unlawful and unacceptable.

The European Central Bank has selected 36 payment providers which include traditional banks, digital banks and payment companies, with several of Europe's largest financial institutions among those taking part, including Deutsche Bank, UniCredit, Revolut, Adyen and Stripe. ECB Executive Board member Piero Cipollone said the level of interest demonstrated that the payments industry was ready to help to "shape the project's next phase"

Islamic Republic in Iran hangs 24-Year-old woman who defended herself from sexual assault

Yesterday the regime executed Marziyeh Neyri yesterday, a young woman who was forced into marriage at age 17 and hanged for fighting back against her attacker.

Marziyeh was 18 years old when her husband's associate attempted to sexually assault her in her own home, in front of her husband. She grabbed a kitchen knife to defend herself. Her husband died in the struggle.

She told the court she had been repeatedly assaulted by her husband's associates before that day. Iran's courts didn't care.

The regime rejected her self-defense claim. Her attacker, who survived, took the stand and called her a murderer. The court believed him over her.

She was sentenced to death.

No clemency. No mercy. The sentence was carried out at Chubindar Prison in Qazvin.

Marziyeh Neyri never had a chance. Forced into marriage as a child under Iran's Islamic laws, she spent the few years of her adult life in a courtroom, fighting for her life after defending it.

She lost.

This is the Sharia Laws in Islamic Republic of Iran where a woman can be hanged for surviving.

Govt funding for the National Women's Council rose by 30% since the Family Care Referendum

State Funding:
2024: €1.1million
2025: €1.43m (+30%!)

Lets Recap:

The NWC wanted to remove Women & Mothers from the Constitution on Mother's Day 2024.

They backed the Yes/Yes proposal that suffered the largest referendum defeat in history. 73.93% rejection

In the aftermath of referendum, then CEO Orla O'Connor refused all media. (à la Dee Forbes)

Regardless of all this, in 2025 the State awards the NWC a "unique role role in co-designing" the next National Women's Strategy.

The State gives them 30% boost in funding.

They published a 36 page strategy document. Not one mention of the word "mother".

The accompanying Action Plan runs to 52 pages. It does not use “mother” or “wife” once.

It does however, include new policies around "tradwives" & the "manosphere".

Yet, the NWC provides no citation establishing the prevalence of either phenomenon in Ireland.

The most prominent Irish research into the "manosphere" and "tradwife" influencers is a DCU study, "Recommending Toxicity"

This study used just ten fake accounts on ten blank smartphones as the basis for its entire research.

It labelled as "toxic" content around “alpha masculinity" such as discipline, wealth and emotional stoicism.

Read that last part again.

Giving this amount of money, power & authority to a group of unelected, unintelligent activists cannot continue.

I am reading the new "National Strategy for Women and Girls Action Plan" which was published a few days ago by the Government.

It is pure gaslighting!

In particular, section 6.2 states that one of the actions is to create “gender-sensitive design standards” for public spaces.

How is this possible, while at the same time the Government are actively erasing women’s single-sex toilets, changing rooms, sports, refuges and prisons so any male who identifies as a woman can walk right in?

They look women in the face, promise to protect their spaces, then hand those spaces over to the opposite sex and call the women bigots for noticing.

Two years ago the Irish people were asked to remove mothers and a
woman's life in the home from the Constitution. They said no,
decisively.

Now the same instinct is back in a taxpayer-funded campaign. The
Government's new Strategy for Women and Girls describes those who promote
a home-centred family life as promoting "restrictive, stereotypical
roles for women and girls."

There is nothing wrong with choosing to raise your children at home. It
is one of the finest things a person can do. Many women have told me they
feel looked down on by this Government for that very choice.

A mother's choice is not a "harmful stereotype." I've tabled
parliamentary questions asking who decides, and whether raising your own
children at home now falls within the scope of this campaign.

The government wants women to believe that having children are a burden.

The government wants women to believe that caring for your children and taking care of your home and family is sexist and a thing of the past.

The government hates Irish families.

The government wants women in the workforce because they are another number paying taxes.

If more women where at home with their children, there would be less need for childcare.

Children would grow up happier and healthier and wouldn't be indoctrinated by the state as easily.

The government should be pushing to help mothers stay at home to raise their children and encourage more Irish babies, not pushing against it and making it harder.
