The world would be a better place if all people celebrate their friends' victories like Nanyondo did for Nakaayi. From the picture you'd not know who the winner is. As we celebrate new world Champion Nakaayi, Nanyondo's patriotic gesture shouldn't go unnoticed and unrewarded!
@SowetanLIVE@mashoto_ I'd like for them to have the same energy towards European, Asian or Indian foreigners that own more than 80% of our country's wealth. Oh wait...
@lesiba_thabetha @LikhayaCK @SowetanLIVE@mashoto_ And coincidentally, the 1st casualties of "one foreigner at a time" had to be black. Sometimes we are our own enemies. Indians and whites and Chinese will never do this to their own. We have deep rooted issues. A colonialism hangover.
Sounding an alarm that growth in Africa is a tale of two continents. 3 wealthiest men in Africa own more wealth than the bottom half, 650 million Africans!
We can change this by taxing progressively, curbing tax dodging & investing more in health care & education. #WEFAfrica19
⚠️ Be careful before you share a video or picture of #xenophobic violence in #SouthAfrica. Many of them are from unrelated incidents. https://t.co/VEZLFZKcB5
African Heads of State shd make Xenophobia an issue of discussion. While it has expressed itself violently in SA, many African countries practice it in subtle ways like visa restrictions & denial of work permits. We r all guilty of hating African foreigners & fawning over others
@HEBobiwine South africa could have not achieved their freedom and peace back from Apartheid regime without help of people from around the world through non-violent means such as boycotts and divestment, now they are turning against the world that helped them. Sad!😨😨
#SayNoToXenophobia
Uganda blocks Rwanda websites - then Rwanda blocks Uganda websites. Norman Vincent Peale said; “Part of the happiness of life consists not in fighting battles, but in avoiding them. A masterly retreat is in itself a victory”. We wish. https://t.co/fIRNsSXWwk via @observerug
UGX579,000,000,000 was allocated to MoH by Gov to buy 100 Ambulances 5yrs ago, no ambulance has been purchased since then.
*Each Ambulance was to cost UGX5,790,000,000 😫
We’re not broke, we’re just poorly governed, Out of the 121 districts in Uganda, 77 don’t have ambulances.
