So, we are officially registered for the 2021 Urology Residency Match! It will be our 4th year to match 4 spots (up from our original 3/yr) - that somehow seems magical. Buckle your seat belts: it’s gonna be quite an adventure for us all! @WashU_Uro#AUAMatch
What a successful first virtual John R. Caulk Visiting Professorship! Thank you, Peggy Pearl, MD, PhD, of @UTSWUrology for a empowering day of learning about ureteroscopy and medical management of stone disease.
I am an internal medicine resident in NYC giving it my all caring for patients with #covid_19. This is hard for all the reasons you would expect: it is traumatic, heartbreaking, exhausting.
But it’s also hard because of how we as residents are being treated. a thread… 1/12
@Delta Fingers crossed, booked a last minute award flight from STL to DTW (albeit expensive) to get home after 4 direct flight cancellations @SouthwestAir shifting me from Sunday to Wednesday
@Delta Thank you. But what about rebooking if it's cancelled due to weather on an award flight?? For example, I book STL to DTW tonight that gets cancelled by Delta, and want to rebook to take the next available out? Would that not apply?
@SouthwestAir How can flight 1404 from MDW to DTW still be on schedule when flight 5225 from STL to DTW tonight was cancelled hours ago due to weather at DTW?
@SouthwestAir The snow starts tomorrow morning at 7am in DTW. I rebooked for 845am which then cancels. What sense does it make to rebook people from today when there's no snow to tomorrow where there is snow?
