Humphrey had so much fun making music this morning with 4th graders. He sang the “Hello Song” with all of his friends then played the piano, ukulele and maracas! What talent!!! 🎶
Wow! Thank you SHSP for the unbelievably creative and artistic door display! The QR code for music listening took me to a different dimension!!! I absolutely love it!❤️🎶👏🌹You’re the best!!!
Our 5th grade Winter Choral Concert was simply amazing 🎶 Congrats to @SandshoreM and students who celebrated the theme of ❤️ with such uplifting harmonies. Not a dry eye in the house! Bravo!!!! @MOSandshore@MountOliveTSD@ZywickiR

🇺🇸Flag Day: Our Lilly was selected to be the 2nd grade leader. She and others led us in this patriotic song...accompanied by Mrs. King on piano! @MOSandshore@Jen1Curry@kristymc24@SandshoreM
What an exciting week! We learned how Asian Pacific American music & dance has influenced and enriched our lives. Students’ favorite activity was doing the “Sasa”, a seated dance from Samoa with Mr. DelGaudio! @Jen1Curry@kristymc24@MOSandshore
@jdiegidio1 What a coincidence! Our 3rd graders also learned about the didgeridoo this week. We learned that it is also called the yidaki and even though it’s made from bamboo, it’s considered to be from the brass family because of how it’s played.🎶
We moved rhythmically to spirituals using found sounds & listened to past & present pieces with themes about equality & freedom. We discovered that music affected our emotions when it was used as a background to MLK’s famous speech!🎶@ZywickiR@Jen1Curry@kristymc24@MOSandshore
So much fun preparing for the holidays this week! Ss grabbed their infamous paper plates or simply used hands & fingers to move rhythmically with expression to the “Nutcracker March” and “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.”🧚 @Jen1Curry @kristymc24 @MOSandshore
