When you have a one-day event like this. The first thing one needs to do is determine whether

1. This is the beginning of a trending event (bear market)
or
2. A one time, episodic volatility event.

Now having some distance from Friday.

1. Understanding how Binance played a key role in this massacre and that most of the excess downside was negligence and not a systemic problem.
2. Headline-driven
3. Friday closing time

I will easily pick #2

Then we can go back to a normal buying pattern. I did not say to go yell "Alt season" like every parrot will keep doing. Acting like nothing ever happened while people have been wiped out.

Or let's go back to "You are here," right? Not exactly. While the lows we hit will in most cases hold. Some were so ridiculously low that they might never even be seen again.

What I do believe, though, is that discernment will still be a key component of this rally, which I think can carry BTC back to the $150k area.

It doesn't mean it will necessarily be a ball in the park. Increased volatility will play tricks. Retesting lows, or close to them, is also part of a normal reversal process. So you also have to be ready for that eventuality.

And I still believe that those peddling their 100x, "You are here" every single day because they have nothing else to bring, are borderline criminal.

In fact, if this were the equity market, these people would be wearing nice orange jumpsuits.

For those out there for whom it is a painful experience, know that this too shall pass.

No one lives long in this field without them. They are a rite of passage.

Most of us attracted to markets are initially motivated by greed, even when not aware it is.

I was fortunate enough to experience mine only 18 months into my initiation. I knew nothing. I did not know I was a degen because I thought it was normal and did not know better.

But really I wouldn't need to listen to anybody that did not think like me because I was invincible.

And just shy of 100x'ing my account and... boom October 19, 1987. 60% gone forever.

But since I was a genius. I carefully over the next 2 years lost the rest just to go back where I started.

Then I chose to learn... Really learn and chose to listen. Like all of you who made it big and lost it. You can choose to make it the most memorable investment story of your life. The story you will build upon.

In the end it really is just money. We're here to experience life and while you might not have thought you signed up for that much of a high ticket item, it was the price YOU had to pay.

Whether you lost $1000 or $10m if it means a lot to you it is the same emotional impact. The market is the greatest equalizer.

The path to recovery after the pain, the rage, the anger is to look within. Nobody forced you to do anything.

Only radical self responsibility will put you on the right track for your future success. It's the only way. Some give up others push through. No bad

My 1987 crash was the greatest blessing. It changed my path forever and for the better.

Make yours count. Trust me you will wear your scars proudly and live another day to tell the story.

Be mindful that if it was significant losses for you, you will go through the stages of grief.

On that day I swore to myself I would never get caught again.
